Years ago a business friend of mine invited me to the Grotto Reale. Since then I have been a regular visitor. The food, especially the meat is always perfect. For appetizers, I can especially recommend sepia and shrimps out of the pan. If you preorder, you can also get sole – a very special treat. What’s more I got to know wines of Spain. You can always count on the recommendations of Arlindo. For me the Grotto Reale is THE restaurant in Zurich where you get the best value for money and continuous quality.

Yesterday we have been to the Grotto Reale again. Even though the restaurant was quite crowded, the service was excellent. The food was delicious as always. We have been to the best restaurants of the city. But the Grotto Reale outdoes every other restaurant with its hospitality, the value you get for your money and the quality of the food. Surely the best beef filet and veal cutlet of the city. A hearty thank you to Arlindo and his crew.

I have eaten lunch here multiple times. Yesterday night I visited it with my wife for the first time. We were impressed by the delicious and generous meals, the excellent wine, the friendly service and the calm atmosphere. We will visit again.

Wednesday’s regular table

I cannot even recall how many times me and my wife visited this wonderful restaurant. We already feel at home there. The atmosphere is great because everyone is always very friendly and the food is sensational. We have tried out the entire menu and cannot remember a single meal which wasn’t to our liking. One of the best restaurants of the city! Can only recommend it to everyone to visit it!
